I've packed the Win98 Freecell files that were shipped with my Windows (98SE) and sent them to you via eMail. The last time I tried to recover something off of the Recovery Disk, I kind of wiped out my system. The only CD I have that has the original FREE CELL on it is my Recovery Disk, and I hesitate to try that. I tried what you suggested, but found no "Games" entry. There should be a selection for restoring missing files. If that doesn't work, you may need to run a re-installation of Windows from the cd. Reboot your machine, then follow the same steps but this time check the box to choose to have the windows games installed. Select the tab for windows components, uncheck the games options.
